My customers have raved about the Aural Thrills Audio 300B but some have requested a little more power. Here it is. 45 awesome watts that will run just about any speaker made. As usual, the transformers are custom built in the USA to my specifications. This is a push pull set up which uses no negative feedback. It has a gigantic soundstage, pinpoint imagining, and the power to rock your world. No circuit board is used. All wiring is point to point, and shielded, using my well regarded Bass Boss cable. The result is detailed, rich sound with a deep dark background. The unit is dead quiet.

The stock unit is made of hand rubbed Poplar with 1/4 inch Acrylic top and bottom plates. Acrylic is a wonderful replacement for the usual steel. It is very rigid, non conductive, and perfectly suited for amplifier use. It actually costs more than the equivalent steel but I feel results in a superior product. The tubes reflect off the top plate resulting in some great night time viewing as well as listening.

This amp can be configured in many different ways. It can use 6dj8, 6922, 12at7, 12au7, 12ax7 for the input tube. When equipped with cathode bias it can use 6L6, KT66, EL34, KT77, KT80 or 6550 as the output tube. It is like getting many amps in one. Tube rolling heaven.

The care that goes into making a pair of these is evident in the details and quality of materials being used. I have isolated every sound quality by many, many, hours of critical listening. From the solder, to the RCA connectors, to the wire being used, I know exactly what each element brings to the sonic table. It is by careful mixing of each harmonic ingredient that I have arrived at this design. Please do not compare these cables to the Chinese or cheap cables widely available. These are a true audiophile design and you will hear the difference.
